Cavapoo Puppy Ruby & White Boy | Extra Extra Handsome | Jolly Good Boy | 16 or so Pounds

So my aforementioned turkey soup is simmering on the back of the stove, smelling rather delicious if I do say so myself! The broth is perfection, with loads of garlic, a cupboard full of my favorite spices, and topped off with a generous spoonful of parsley. The perfect dish for waiting out a snowstorm. 

I just walked down to the mailbox, which is quite the trek by the way, there and back is probably half a mile, well maybe a quarter of a mile, but it felt like 10 miles at 9 degrees Fahrenheit, with a MINUS FIVE WINDCHILL!! 

By the time I got back to the house I was fairly convinced that I was going to freeze solid before I made it to the door, the puppies all looked at me reproachfully for not sharing the fun and taking them along on my trip! 🧊 I told them to trust Mama Terry on this. It was time for all good puppies to take a nap, not to go outdoors and turn into little pupsicles lol.

They truly are such hearty little creatures, it amazes me, not daunted by cold or snow, they truly think they are big dogs and can do all the big dog stuff, which they do with abandon. Our veterinarian adopted one of our Cavachons several years ago, and he laughingly tells me that there's nothing she keeps up with his big dogs on all of their adventures, as small as she is.

They truly avoid so many of the behaviors of many toy breeds, never yappy or hyper, lovers of napping on couches, as well as jogging on the beach. There are a lot of Doodles out there, and hands down, the Cavapoo (Cavadoodle!), tips the scales in favor of all the best character traits that you almost never see in dogs under 30 pounds.

Speaking of which, this handsome boy is the perfect example of those qualities, but add in a generous measure of good looks, striking markings, the heart of a true companion dog, shake well, and voila! You have Captain Snickerdoodle, who can't wait to show you what a real dog is like and how happy you’ll be to have one of your very own!
