Bow Wow Baby! She is SO SWEET!!! How can a puppy be both philosophical and precocious at the same time? Well, maybe not at the exact same time, if I ponder a bit, Annie does have spells of each just to keep things interesting lol.
For example, I was taking her pictures, and she was all about showing the other puppies how to pose perfectly. I could see her cutting her eyes at them to be sure they were appreciating all the “What a goooood puppppy Annie is!” that Mama Terry was lavishing on her. She was so proud of herself and sat up all tall like a puppy statue, helpfully ensuring I was able to capture all of her best angles lol. Yes, a bit of a ham as well as a philosopher!

The puppies are such good sports, though they do peer at the odd assortment of creatures; they only occasionally try to carry one off.
Dockside Dudley was all about his fancy collar, though; he thought it accented his coat perfectly. He told his sister Sally that he must be Mama Terry’s favorite cause his collar was made of real sapphires 😆 I didn’t have the heart to burst his bubble. 💎

Taffy Tides is currently searching for a seaside villa, preferably with ocean views, fresh pastries, and absolutely no sharks. This golden-apricot Cavapoo princess is wrapped in curls and already convinced that the world is her oyster and some lucky person is going to find her and whisk her off to a life filled with sea breezes, cozy blankets, and endless admiration. She cannot wait to meet you, I promise!
Despite her coastal ambitions, Taffy has no interest whatsoever in venturing too far into the ocean. She prefers her beaches sandy, her paws dry, and her sharks entirely fictional, just like Mama Terry! Ah, but not to worry, she has aspirations of being the most social of butterflies; she practices wagging her tail and giving puppy kisses daily, and I see her being a real snugglebunny and daddy’s best girl in her future.
I’m guessing just a bit about her size. I don’t think she’ll go over 12 pounds, but she indeed might go under by a pound or so. She hasn’t decided yet, and with those petite little paws, I think she’ll stay on the lower range of all things Cavapoo.
She’s sound asleep as I’m writing this, I’m sure dreaming of her future: in that charming cottage by the sea, a wicker chair on the porch, and perhaps a devoted staff member whose primary responsibility is providing snacks,,, that sounds like a position I’d like to apply for!

So Lobster Jack is fairly certain that even if he goes to live with a seaside family, his chances of encountering a real shark are fairly slim, but he still worries; he just read that there were over 500 species of sharks in the world, so one can’t ever be too cautious… (WHY do we need so many, he says??)
I, on the other hand, am convinced that being in Ohio, I’m fairly safe unless I allow myself to be coaxed into getting within chomping distance. I’ll have to share my story of delivering a puppy to Martha’s Vineyard recently. WHAT WAS I THINKING??? They filmed Jaws there for crying out loud!
Ah, but I digress, back to our scrumptious little Irish Setter RED puppy boy with his adorable curls and a face that could melt the most determined, nay-saying, “We are not getting a puppy!” parent!
Not to worry. Lobster Jack will arrive and have everyone head over heels in love within moments, so I say go ahead and get him and ask for forgiveness later! He’s truly irresistible, just plop him in the naysayer’s lap and let him gaze pitifully into dad's eyes, and before you know it, he'll be on the website getting a second puppy cuz he doesn't want baby Jackie to be lonely lol!
They do love a buddy, so many of my Puppy People end up getting a 2nd (or 3rd, or 4th!!!) puppy for that very reason. Dogs are such social creatures; when we have to leave them to go restock the fridge or trek off to other not dog-friendly spaces, it’s a real comfort for your resident canine to have a “sibling” to cuddle up with while they mournfully wait for Mom to come back from Costco. Misery does indeed love company.
By the way, if you are allergy-prone, this puppy is an excellent choice; he has an abundance of waves and curls, and a coat like some spun silk, so he'll be extremely hypoallergenic and non-shedding. That being said, if you have tested specifically allergic to dogs, you might be forced into staying with breeds like a purebred Bichon or Poodle. 99% of our families have done just fine with a Cavapoo or a Cavachon, but for the serious allergy sufferers, their only 100% answer is to live dog-free, and how sad is that!? If your allergies are just garden variety, on the other hand, you should be perfectly fine; life is too short to live without a Lobster Jack in your life.

Ain’t Going In The Water 🦈 🌊 😳
Look at this silly puppy guy’s expression in some of his photos; he’s not really a wimp, he is actually a typically sporty and outgoing Cavapoo character, but he was convinced that my shiny big camera was not his new best friend, and his face showed it. Miss Terry, always seeing the comical moments with my puppies, was suddenly reminded of my favorite vintage beach movie, Jaws, and he was the perfect poster child for why I still stay out of the water lol.
Scary shark movies aside, scroll through the rest of his pics, and you’ll see a glimmer of good old-fashioned mischief and an extra huggable, kid-loving, super duper family companion in the making. I love so much about this puppy: his sweet-natured personality, his ability to morph from backyard athlete to naptime mode with ease.
I’m thinking he’ll be super non-shed like all of my Cavapoo puppies are, but if you are extra allergy-prone, his coat tends more toward wavy vs. curly, and I’d point you toward one of his siblings who are loaded with coat and curls.
He’ll follow your lead with tail wagging and become the favorite dog in your neighborhood with his cheery, slightly goofy grin, an irresistable red-headed addition to the family who’ll have your in-laws begging to puppy sit when you go on vacation. Don’t miss these Ruby puppykids, they’re the last until July. If you’re hoping for a puppy to take along to the beach, these are the perfect candidates, even if Nopie looks like the least nautical sailor to set a paw on the dock! (don’t tell him I said that!).

While many sailors dream of life upon the open sea, Buoy Biscuit prefers to admire the ocean from a respectful distance. This fluffy little first mate is convinced that boats belong in the water and puppies belong on the shore, though occasionally I find him doing his best to swim in what he now considers his own personal PUPPY POOL, so he might be having a change of heart lol.
I had a brilliant idea for the puppy’s playyard, in addition to a puppy-sized teeter-totter (everyone’s personal favorite), and a colorful tent for shade on warm days; doesn’t every puppy need his own personal jacuzzi? Since I’ve been longing for a swimming pool since Shep was a pup, I thought the puppies would enjoy their own tiny pool that they could paddle whenever they got the urge. So far, it’s been a big hit, and Biscuit is currently showing his siblings how to plunge in and make the biggest splash possible. Happily, it fills itself automatically, so this particular game is a never-ending source of delight.
He's sweet, thoughtful, and surprisingly cuddly, especially when he needs to dry off after a swim. Super silky coat that should be about 90% non-shedding, and a funny little cowlick right between his eyes that gives him a dashing look like a puppy rock star in the making. He’d love to try out for the canine water Olympics—the perfect companion for anyone who believes adventures are to be enjoyed wherever you find them, even in a 6” water dish disguised as an Olympic Puppy Pool.

We also send along an amazing puppy kit with each of our furry little bundles. Inside you'll find a trendy little collar & lead (just the right size for little puppy kids), a generous puppy food sample, and a canine health record with puppy health exam dates, vaccination, and deworming details for your veterinarian. Because I'm so passionate about the difference a great puppy makes, I know how to raise not only stunningly beautiful Cavachons and Cavapoos but puppies that because I put the extra time in to be sure the puppy you purchase will settle into their home as quickly and easily as possible.
I call them "Starter Puppies," usually 11 to 12 weeks old before they leave, making for a puppy who is mature enough to be crate trained when he arrives, sleeps through the night, and old enough to potty train quickly. You won't miss anything with a puppy that's a couple of weeks older, unless getting up at 3:00 am is high on your list of puppy wants! I don't let puppies go too early, it makes things so much easier for the new owner when puppies are just a tad more mature.
I want a healthy Cavachon (and a good dog breeder should want that for her puppy people too!)
Because we raise only hybrids, a blending of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon or Poodle, your chances of getting a puppy who is sound and healthy are much increased. We have worked for years to gather healthy bloodlines from around the world to avoid issues like mitral valve disease which is so common in the Cavalier but happily, it is more difficult for Cavalier offspring who are not purebred to inherit that problem. The same is true for hip dysplasia and other health problems found all too often in most pure breeds of dogs. We do OFA testing and do our utmost to ensure that our puppies are born from healthy, happy parents of course. Testing isnt a guarantee though. I have seen even dogs with clear tests produce puppies with inherited problems when we raised purebred dogs many years ago, which is why I no longer raise AKC registered dogs, only hybrid Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who have a much greater likelihood of having a long healthy life.
A cavachon or cavapoo puppy from Foxglove Farm will have had the best supplements from birth.
All of our dogs are given daily probiotics and supplements like NuVet Plus. I feel it's absolutely vital to help young puppies have a strong immune system, not only to prevent disease but to help them thrive in spite of vaccinations and other stressors common to young puppies.
Vaccinations and deworming are up to date. However, I recommend a cautious approach to some of the harsher vaccines, like Leptospirosis, which has been shown to have a high rate of reactions in sensitive dogs.
I recommend a cautious approach to excess vaccines in your puppy as the most prudent course. My background in veterinary medicine is combined with a more holistic approach in caring for the puppies I raise and the recommendations I give my puppy buyers on how to thoughtfully care for their new puppy in a more natural way that is safer for them and for their families.
For example, Here’s an excerpt from a series I wrote called Mistakes Pet Owners Make; it discusses the dangers of neutering your puppy too quickly and why waiting for neutering to about 12 to 14 months (for a Cavapoo or Cavachon is a good idea).
“Current research points to many excellent reasons to delay neutering your pet until it has matured and its growth plates have had time to close. Early neutering (which is typically as early as 5 months of age) is being blamed for the rapid rise of joint disease and the explosion in the number of joint surgeries.”
My goal is that my Puppy People have a lifetime of happy years with their new puppy, be it a Cavachon or a Cavapoo, and that puppy is a joy and a delight for many, many years to come. I hear from our past puppy buyers on a daily basis that our oldest “puppies” are commonly 16 and even 17 years of age!

Don't worry about your puppy being in cargo or below in the airplane, your puppy will be by the nanny’s side the entire journey and most of them (unless in a rush to catch flights) are wonderful about sharing updates on their journey and pictures too.
