What an exceedingly beautiful and brilliant puppy our Charlotte Frost is, with her perfect silver-blue frosted coat, lovely, forever puppy conformation, and a bright, intelligent personality that promises a truly delightful canine companion in the making.

She’s adaptable and easy-going, adores all creatures two or four-footed, and will be a lovely fit for just about any setting. I love my brave, sweet-natured, and socially adept Cavapoo babies; they are blessed with all the best qualities I look for in a stellar companion dog. Squeak squeak squeak! Rosie Claire is gazing up at me with her melting dark eyes, fairly certain she wants to be held, until she spies the BRAND NEW STUFFED STRAWBERRY SQUEAKY TOY!!! 🍓

Oh puppy JOY! The squeaky toy was a lovely distraction for my Cavapoo toddler, but eventually she decided that nothing in life would be more fun than curling up for a nice long nap while I wrote on that funny-looking silver machine Mama Terry calls her laptop.

Now she's warmly ensconed on my lap, her tiny tail thump thump thumping against my knee. She leans over occasionally to see if the tempting edge of my desk might be edible. Oh, goody, we get to practice our puppy manners as I compose her puppy bio, the perfect combination of practicality and creativity lol!

Aht! Aht! Aht! No chew! My favorite triplet combination for puppy correcting, a nice growly sound, reminiscent of a mother dog’s grumbly admonitions that were applied liberally as needed when raising her youngsters. 

Then, “What a gooood giiiirl (nice long vowel sounds), as she stops to ponder, and I layer on a bit of praise to reward her change of direction. Just a bit, we're not going to have a celebratory dance just because she stops investigating items she's not allowed to chew on. 

Ah, but all is not lost: if the desk is on the no-chew list, out comes her new favorite strawberry toy as a lovely distraction, and peace reigns, and I'm able to get back to the project at hand.

And for you puppy seekers, I’d say Rosie Claire is the middle child in the litter, a tad more precocious than Clover Jane but more laid-back than Baron Waffles, who is sure that he was born to entertain the human race lol.

She loves to explore, but happily blends her busier moments with being completely satisfied being held, as long as you are willing. A companionable puppy, sporty and fun, but I see glimmers of her becoming an exceptionally sweet, gentle Cavapoo companion in the very near future.

Clover Jane insisted on sitting in my lap as I wrote her puppy bio. I had put her down on the floor in my office with a dozen toys and a nice soft puppy bed to nap in, but after exploring for a bit, she came and put her paws up on my knees and gave the softest tiny whine while looking pleadingly into my eyes, very clearly in puppy language said “Mama Terry, pleeeze hoooold me! 😘 “

Now she's in my lap, watching me peck out these sentences slowly,,,, with one hand,,, while the other keeps her secure. She is snug as a bug in the proverbial rug, occasionally giving me a loving lick in between nibbling gently on my thumbnail. She couldn't be happier, and little does she know that she's getting good practice for the job I'm raising her to do: become a most devoted canine companion who, with every fiber of her tiny being, will strive to bring oh-so-much love to her future family.

Why am I sharing all that you ask? Because, at the end of the day, my mission has never changed, I started out decades ago, loving dogs passionately, and I continue to this day believing in my heart that every family needs at least one truly great dog in their lives. 

Every puppy in this posting has that kind of love to share, from this sweet baby who peers up into my face and wags her whisp of a tail confidingly, as she listens to me navigate through this online space, to our wonderously pretty Beauty, all the way down the puppy ladder to Bitsy Boots, who by the way is highly offended that she’s not the one currently gnawing on my thumbnail too. 😀

I never would have believed it when I built the first website on Homestead, of all places, back in the days of dial-up, literally sitting and reading a book while I waited for each image to upload, of the journey I’d set out on, the lives our puppies would grace, each of them in his or her own way, performing the same mission, more love, more comfort, more puppy joy…

Clover Jane gives a little lick to reassure me that those days of slow internet and dinosaur dial-up are long past (thankfully), and she says, " Look, Mama, you can put all my beautiful pictures up in a smidge of the time it used to take!” She’s absolutely right, and this website has become a blessing to me, and I hope to all those who come our way, as have our puppies.

Fair warning, Bitsy Boots is so irresistible, she’ll wrap you round her velvet paw before you know what's happening, and you’ll find yourself not feeling complete without your tiny sidekick by your side. She’ll contentedly ride along with you on your errands (she says don’t forget the Starbucks drive-thru for that Puppuccino) and spend as much time in your lap as you could wish.

Keep in mind, she’s small but mighty, perfectly sporty, and agile enough to climb stairs and jump small hammocks in a single bound. She’ll love traveling in the RV, lounging poolside, and if the grandkids come to stay, she’ll joyfully let all of them take turns holding her.

She was born to be a loving and exceedingly lovable part of someone’s life, and if possible, she’s even a million times more delightful in person (and she knows it!). A winsome lil lass that will turn the neighbors pea green with puppy envy, how could a puppy be so doggone CUTE?!

I’m so excited about the new colors we’re seeing in recent litters. For this longtime dog fancier, the rare colors are just icing on the cake for our beautiful puppies! Notice this puppy and his sister, Beauty (the BEAUTIFUL!). Not only is Tricolor an unusual color in the Cavapoo, but the pigment is unique in other ways.

The white background is a gleaming icewhite with not a hint of cream. The black is jetty, non-fading, and stunning; even the tan markings (the eyebrows and ear trim) are a brilliant, crisp mahogany that sets off these coats to perfection. Lovely. Lovely. LOVELY!

Ah, but all that loveliness needs to be further embellished with an exceptional temperament and personality. I couldn’t be more pleased with the gentle yet outgoing sweetness that this boy exhibits. He is such a great puppy, yes, he's truly gorgeous, yes, he's rare, yes, he's going to turn heads everywhere you take him, but at home or strolling around the boulevard, he will be a trainable, easy-going, quiet-natured, delightful addition to the family.

He can’t be perfect, but sometimes I wonder! I've never heard him bark. He’s been such an easy puppy to raise. I know he’ll transition quickly through his puppy basics, and you’ll be reaching out for a second Foxglove Farm baby. They truly are addictive, and two are even more fun! (I get LOTS of letters on that subject!).

One moment, sober as a judge with his paws planted firmly on the ground, those cute eyebrows perched atop his soulful dark eyes like tiny sentinels. He is such a darling, all serious and steady until he remembers that after all, he’s only a baby and there are toys to play with and teeter-totters to clamber up and down, and then he’s off in search of adventure like all good puppies!

Chubby paws aside, I’m guestimating this boy at 15 pounds grown, large enough to keep up with a busy family and small enough to travel south for the winter if you’ve a mind to leave the blissful northern climes for some real sunshine, who can blame you, say I,,, we had SNOW two days ago!

There’s just something so appealing about this little boy’s face. He looks directly into your eyes and tries to understand every word. I have complete faith that this bright-as-a-button puppy will figure out the human language in no time at all, and you’ll find yourself spelling words like “C-O-O-K-I-E” before he’s been home very long at all lol.

True story, a Puppy Person told me the other day that her Cavachon knows when they SPELL her groomer’s name and goes and hides under the couch!!!! They truly are the most wonderfully intelligent dogs in the canine kingdom! 👑 I LOVE smart dogs, they are so much fun, and they think they’re people. Just ask Hastings!

Little Miss Fancy Pants was so impressed with her bandanna that she happily posed for Mama Terry, turning back and forth to make sure that I was able to capture every angle. She wasn't sure which exactly was her best side, so she didn't want me to miss anything! Funny little creature, with a heart of gold, don't miss this red-headed bundle of Cavapoo cuteness!

Ever popular for good reason, our bright Ruby puppies are not only exceedingly adorable with their brilliant red coats and splashy white markings, they are also one of the calmer doodle options available. Yes, playful, outgoing, and fun, but also the most marvelous little couch potatoes, even from an early age, a lovely quality if you want a lower maintenance dog who can happily hike the trails (or around the neighborhood) but is also happy to cozy up while you read a book.

Puppies will be puppies, but our Cavapoos progress rapidly through the puppy sillies and rapidly become stellar canine companions with loads of good sense and less of the drive that comes with a lab or golden poodle cross. Lovely dogs, certainly, but the Cavalier helps to soften that drive, and the spaniel aspect further implements the quiet nature I love.

Peaches Darling is exactly that, a darling girl who will cavort with the kids or cuddle when dad needs a recliner buddy, puppy bliss indeed!

Cavachon Puppy Apricot & Cream Boy | Mini Size 18 Pounds

OK, so I just cannot stand how adorable this chunky little guy is, that expression! He was pleased as punch with himself, having nabbed first, my treasured crocheted hollyhocks, then he would have absconded with the fuzzy yellow bumblebees, and he looked so pleased with himself I didn't have the heart to take it away from him for a good little while. That face!!! The way he rolls his eyes up at me, looking all innocent, like “What bumblebee???”

Yes, he’s the bee’s knees (couldn’t resist!), with a caramel coat frosted here and there with bits of cream, don’t miss the tip of his tail, with a snowy curl at the very end! GORGEOUS!!! He’ll be the envy of all the other dog moms in the neighborhood, and you don’t even have to tell them about his bumblebee addiction unless you want to lol.

Slightly larger, he might grow a bit more than my guesstimate; he’s got biggish paws, typically a good indicator of a sizey puppy, but he’s not reading this bio, so he might surprise me and do a bit under or over my estimate. Either way, he's the perfect size for family fun and will be happy to buddy up with the neighbor's yellow lab if you get together for a barbecue. Don't forget to give him just a nibble, don't tell the dog food police I said so! (Yes, I firmly believe that our dogs will benefit from the judicious addition of small amounts of people food to their diets. When in doubt, you can always Google what's safe, since that seems to be our new fingertip expert!)

Cavachon Puppy Blenheim Boy | Toy Sized 10 - 12 Pounds (Updated size : )

Yes, this little guy is a Blenheim, so of course, he's already a stair step up the puppy ladder in my humble opinion. I do love the Blenheims! (By Blenheim, I’m referring to the coat color and pattern of gold & white, very reminiscent of the beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel).

All that blonde-and-white puppy goodness seems to come packaged in a puppy that is very similar to the CKCS in temperament and trainability. Add to that an especially sweet disposition in a breed already known for its affectionate nature, and voila, you have the (nearly) perfect puppy!

Now, lest you think that means an angelic puppy who would never put a paw wrong, let's not get too carried away. William, though he is indeed sweet, will have his fair share of antics on any given day. He might chase the cat if you have one, probably only once, but just saying. He could be guilty of stealing a sock here and there, and any number of the antics that are just part of day-to-day life with a puppy. 

That being said, those outbreaks of puppy badness will be shorter-lived, with him hurrying over to make sure you still love him, and to tell you that he really didn't mean to drag your new tennis shoes under the bed. 🛌

All in all, a simply delightful small boy who will certainly grow up to be one of the very best dogs you’ll ever be owned by!

I have to admit I’m a little besotted with this beautiful puppy. What a gloriously lovely little individual she is, with a heart of gold, the most delightful disposition, and over-the-top looks! She is a stunning puppy in a litter of beauteous babies; it’s hard to stand out, but she does, and I can’t take my eyes off her. I keep telling myself that I CANNOT KEEP HER! (Hastings wants me to, but he wants to keep all the puppies lol!).

With all the classic style of the best sort of Cavalier, a perfectly put together package of puppy delights, “Beauty”, as she’s known here at home, makes my heart sing with her wonderful conformation, that stunning face, her richly pigmented (RARE in the Cavapoo by the way). Tricolor coat, velvety soft with a texture like spun silk. She will only get more and more beautiful every day you own her, and I promise, the neighbors will swoon when they see her!

Ah, but as toothsome as this little miss is on the exterior, she’s already got all the makings of an easy-to-train, compliant-natured canine companion. After all, pretty is as pretty does, as the axiom goes! Smart and attentive, she watches you carefully, wheels spinning in her bright little noggin; she’ll learn quickly, she adores her treats, and I can see her happily performing all sorts of tricks to further dazzle her admiring fans.

Speaking of Hastings, his repertoire contains several ridiculously adorable feats that he performs almost always on cue. His special favorite is High Five; he alternates quickly between paws. All I have to do is point at his foot, and UP it goes, waving a greeting. He knows where the cookie jar is, so the motivation is always close at hand! It is such fun to have a beautifully trained, intelligent small creature who adores you and performs like a pony in the circus; these little characters are SO intelligent!

She’ll be the same kind of addition to your life, making it her job to entertain the grownups, snuggle with the kiddos, or whoever has need of a toasty foot warmer. Whoever takes her home, please remember to share pictures with me, so I can kick myself for not adopting her myself! 😳

Oh, what a handsome puppy guy, Rusty Beau is extra stylish with an Irish Setter red coat, that perfect teddy-bear face, and a jolly, friendly way about him that makes everyone fall in love the moment they meet him.

I get asked all the time which is the better choice, a boy or a girl puppy. In some breeds, there is a vast difference. If we were discussing Rottweilers, Beagles, or some other purebreds, I’d say there is much more variation than I found with these Cavalier hybrids.

Yes, the boys can be a little more adventurous, especially as puppies, but they can also be very soft-natured, and many of them tend toward the old soul side of the puppy personality wheel.

The girls are equally happy to explore new things, and while occasionally a bit more maternal, even as babies, both boys and girls journey through puppyhood to the same destination, becoming loving, loyal family members who grow into brilliantly intelligent grown-up dogs.

Rusty, as he's known here at home, is currently in my lap, having found the coveted squeaky strawberry, which he happily carried off to bed for a while, then took a few turns around the office, and decided that all that activity required a nice long nap. I'm sure he's dreaming of a vast puppy toy store full of wonderful new toys yet to be discovered.

He’s a lovely, gentle fellow, yes, leaning toward the old-soul variety, occasionally lapsing into nibbling fingers like all good puppies, but a mild correction is all he needs for any puppy misdemeanors; he’s got the makings of a compliant sort of puppy who wants to please. If you want a puppy with more pizazz, I’ll point you towards his brother Baron Waffles, who is convinced that everyone he meets will fall immediately in love with his comical, slightly goofy self.

What a delicious, darling this frosty baby is, with her swirly blue-and-silvery-dusted coat and her brilliant copper-colored points. The addition of this wonderful color pattern to our program is something I’ve longed to offer for a few decades. My blue babies are rare in the Cavapoo world and one of my all-time favorite colors in the breed.

“Gracie,” as this little mite is affectionately nicknamed here at home, is a charming small bundle of personality and puppy love who will charm your socks off before you can say Puppy Chow! She adores the human race, is a playful, outgoing social butterfly, and thinks cuddling with anyone who will hold her is the very bestest thing in her small world.

So Tutti Frutti says to tell everyone that she is the bestest baby and would never dream of thieving any poor little bumblebees. She was so good while I was taking her pictures, curling herself around them like a mother hen, I’m sure, given enough time, she would have had a change of heart and at least tasted a few of them, but she was so focused on posing prettily for her photos that the bees were perfectly safe. At least for a while.

I think she has a stellar future ahead of her: house dog extraordinaire, road trip companion, babysitter of little children, cuddler with Aunt Myrtle when she comes to visit, and generally making herself an indispensable part of the fabric of your life.

She’s still sporty and fun, with an athletic way about her that promises she’ll keep up with the busiest family, but oh, not ever losing the Cavachon’s delightful ability to nap and lounge cozily when someone needs a couch buddy.

Oh, this little fluffy bundle of puppy cuteness, don’t you love how he gathered up all those flannel bumble bees, and is holding them like he’s found the most wonderful new toys?! (,,, before Mama Terry rained on his parade and scooped them all up and put them safely back in their basket lol).

So you're wondering why this precious puppy is priced a bit less than her siblings? It's the dog breeder in me, I can't help it. Every litter has puppies who qualify as Pick of the Litter choices, and other puppies, while completely adorable, are reduced a little. In the case of our Ethel May, I'd like to see slightly more symmetrical patches over her eyes, and the addition of a well-placed spot or two throughout her coat would satisfy my desire for symmetry even in the puppy world!

My husband John says that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I've seen it many times over the years. The puppy that I marked down a bit was everyone else's darling, go figure! It used to make me crazy years ago, showing dogs. I was convinced of the judge’s eventual choice, and sometimes we agreed entirely, and sometimes not… Occasionally, the dog who I was certain was sheer perfection ended up with a red or even yellow ribbon instead of the coveted blue! Yes indeed, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

But that being said, what Ethel Mae lacks in symmetry she more than makes up for with an abundance of cuteness and personality. She has such a sweet way about her, and reminds me of a little old lady who only needs a lace-trimmed handkerchief and a pair of woolly slippers to complete the picture.

Bless her little cotton socks, she gazes into your eyes with all the confidence in the world that you think she is sheer perfection and that you wouldn't change a whisker on her darling face! She's a lovely choice for just about any setting, cheerful and outgoing, she loves people of all descriptions, and will be a fast study on the business of being a well-trained puppy. You’ll probably send me a dozen pictures of her all grown up and looking like the Pick of the Litter puppy that she already was 💜

Ah, but she’s not all fluff & glitz! That sparkle behind those china blues suggests she has opinions, plans, and a very specific idea of where she'd like to sit (on you, obviously). She’s also got the Blue Merle’s extra appreciation and love for the comic, a cheerful outlook on life that will make every day you have her a joy! I’ve maintained for years that the colors in dog breeds often are tied to unique personality traits, and Blue Merles are the perfect example. Witty and fun-loving, they adore entertaining their people (and complete strangers!), they love everyone they meet, and the feeling will be mutual, I promise you.

Fair warning, she’s SUPER pricey, but she will pay for herself a thousand times over in the years you have her. If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you’ll recognize that puppies like this one are very few and far between. She has a couple of truly lovely sisters, but only Diamond Lil has the much sought-after, perfectly matched sapphire eyes. All of them are gorgeous, but she tips the scales ever so slightly in her favor!
