I love dressing up the puppies for puppy picture day, rummaging through my puppy dress-up box for velvet bows and glittery goodies for each baby to wear. Ah, but Dottie Darling (aka Little Scrumptious) says she really preferred the fancy collar Gigi Pearl got to wear. Instead, Dottie had to wear the plain old grey bow, which didn’t go at all with her coloring! I admit, I almost agree, especially when I saw that Dottie thought the big grey bow was poking her. See her expression in some of her photos, especially when she looks to the right, and that pesky stiff bow pushed her ear up, much to her dismay lol!, she looks like a small bristly hedgehog, the way she glares at the camera!

Yes, she is chock-full of personality and will be an entertaining addition to some family. She’s bouncy and fun when you want to play and a total couch potato when you don’t. As long as you include her in your routine, she’ll be happy as the proverbial clam. Speaking of happy puppies, the new favorite toy at our house is this flirt pole and Mr. Raccoon from Amazon. I highly recommend it to anyone getting a puppy; it’s a wonderful way to exercise both of you when the snow is flying outside!

Back in December, I was bemoaning the lack of snow, ha! I take it back! The puppies still think it’s glorious fun. Hastings was zooming around today like a little kid, plowing through the white powder and looking quite pleased with himself when we went to get the mail. I, on the other hand, am bundled up like an Eskimo and can hardly open the mailbox with my industrial-strength mittens!

Ah, but I digress! There’s nothing like sweet puppy breath and a snuggly warm creature wrapped round your toes to help bring some sunshine to the snowiest day. Pick one of these cozy creatures, and you can laugh at the snow together!
