Update: This sweet girl was all set to go home to North Carolina this morning, her puppy kit all packed and overflowing with goodies, when the family she was to go home to texted that they had a change of heart and decided they didn’t want a dog after all. 😔 Poor Daisy Jane!

This dog breeder has learned over the years that life happens, and this just means Daisy is waiting for her real forever family to find her. She’s such a love, chubby paws and all, with a steady gaze and a gentle, steady way about her that warms my heart every time I look into her big brown eyes. So, here’s a chance to adopt a slightly older puppy with lots of extras like all boosters done, nearly house-trained, with most of the heavy lifting done for you.

So, if hubby is lobbying for a BIG DOG, after all, he’s over 6 feet tall, and if he’s to walk the new addition around the block, she has to be a bit bigger, please! Daisy Jane says not to worry; she’s a perfectly sturdy canine companion and will stand up really tall on her tiptoes on her walks, so he won’t be embarrassed. And anyway, real men can walk little dogs, don’t fret!

All silliness aside, this puppy is the perfect choice if you were pondering one of the larger Doodles but wanted a quieter breed (she’s super quiet, but of course, she is,,,, she’s a Cavachon!). She’s big enough to keep up on the trails, whether they be in the park across the street or the woods on your grandparents’ farm. As to size, she’s growing briskly. Typically, this breed reaches adult size quickly, by eight months of age or so,

She’s an adaptable little miss who’ll blend in to any lifestyle graciously, smart and trainable, with a sensible, kind-hearted nature that points to a most compliant pup, my favorite sort of canine!

She is very Cavalier in style, with a lovely, silky-smooth coat texture; she’ll be a wash-and-wear kind of girl, and won’t need loads of grooming to keep her neat and tidy. Her coat will definitely get lots wavier as she matures. I can already see curls coming on the tips of her ears, and her tail will be a beautiful, wavy plume; the curls are wrapping round nicely. I can see her prancing down the sidewalk with a couple of kids in tow, she’ll be the perfect canine babysitter, I promise!
