If sweetness and mischief could be wrapped in fluffy sable & white curls, tied up with an imaginary bow, and sent toddling into the world on four little paws, I am fairly certain the result would be Nellie Nutmeg.

Nellie is absolutely gorgeous—and she knows precisely how to use it.

This delicious little Cavachon girl has mastered that particularly dangerous puppy combination of being irresistibly affectionate, wonderfully playful, and just rotten enough to keep everybody laughing. Nellie approaches life with great enthusiasm and very few reservations. If something looks interesting, she investigates it. If something looks climbable, she climbs it. And if there is a warm human available for cuddling, she has absolutely no intention of wasting the opportunity.

Like her brother Alfie Applebaum, Nellie has some rather strong opinions regarding puppy confinement. Crates? Playpens? Barriers intended to suggest that puppies should remain on one side while their people are on the other?

Nellie finds the entire concept deeply troubling. (I’m sorry, she’s not quite that bad but she does make for a good story lol!).

She would much rather be right in the middle of family life, preferably with her little nose involved in whatever happens to be going on. She is affectionate and people-oriented, but beneath all that fluffy sweetness lives a merry little rascal who wakes up each morning wondering what sort of fun might be had before breakfast.

And then she'll crawl into your lap.

That's the problem.

Because one look at that beautiful little face, one warm puppy tucked beneath your chin, and suddenly you've forgotten entirely what she did five minutes ago. Nellie Nutmeg possesses the sort of charm that makes maintaining proper discipline exceedingly difficult—and I suspect she intends to keep it that way. She’ll outgrow a lot of her puppy sillies I promise, but for now I’d say, lots of exercise will help keep this precocious small miss on her best behavior with only occasional ventures into puppy badness 😂

For someone longing for a beautiful, affectionate Cavachon girl with personality to spare, Nellie just might be irresistible. She'll bring the cuddles, the laughter, the puppy shenanigans, and perhaps just a tiny bit of household disorder.

But with a face like Nellie's?

Completely worth it.
