A bit of an old soul in lovely, nonshed Cavapoo fur. She’s a compliant-natured puppy who is thrilled to bits when she hears the wonderful phrase, “What a goood girl Sophie!” She’s not at all Alpha and is very motivated by praise and affection (and don’t forget the liver treats, which are high on her list of favorite things as well!). She’s got a lovely laid-back disposition and will be a good fit for the moderately active family.

Ah, but lest you think Seashell Sophie isn’t a real puppy, let me qualify a bit: you could occasionally find her cantering down the hall with one of your new socks in her mouth. All puppies, even the more laid-back individuals, will have times, especially during puppyhood, where they break out into all kinds of nonsense, most of which you’ll find amusing; that’s one of the joys of having a puppy, my friend.

And I promise you’ll forgive her quickly for any puppy indiscretions when she makes her way up into your lap and gazes mournfully at you with those soft brown eyes, telling you that indeed, butter would not melt in her mouth, and that she truly tries to be an obedient puppy.  Yes, with occasional lapses in puppy judgment, but she promises to outgrow that stage quickly. 😘

Yes, she loves to be held, and will happily plant herself in your lap as long as you like, but will be equally happy to accompany you on that upcoming road trip. Her happy place will be with her people; she was born to be a companion dog and will bloom beautifully in that role.
