Dear, dear little Roscoe, he is the best boy, cheerful and waggy-tailed, extra social and kind-natured, but still sporty and athletic, well, as athletic as a small person can be, that is. He will happily trot along at your heels, keeping you company on your daily rounds, and while he might not run the Iditarod, he’s the perfect choice for urban or country life and magazine-worthy if you’re looking for a beauteous doggie addition to your home. He’d love to be a mama’s boy, by the way, he does love to cuddle!

It amazes me how utterly unaware these little ones are of their actual size. My veterinarian took one of our puppies home years ago to live on his farm. He laughingly told me that she helped with all the chores in good-fashioned farm dog style. She even tried to herd the cattle, but thankfully, he had bigger dogs to take care of that job, though she was convinced that she was helping!

By the way, if you’re contemplating a puppy addition this summer, better act quickly, I’m in the middle of a kitchen remodeling project, and we’ll be taking some time off when we get to the height of the kitchen drama! I have to keep an eye on the installation process, or who knows where the stove will end up!
