Oh my goodness, our “Alice,” as she’s known here at home, is a darling on four paws! Yes, though she’s full of bounce at times, and happy to tag along on any adventures you can dream up; she’s also completely happy to wrap up in a fuzzy blanket and have a nice long nap if that’s on your agenda.

While these are surprisingly agile and athletic little folk, the beauty of the mix is their ability to morph from your bestest walking buddy to a couch potato in a nanosecond. They are so close to human it’s ridiculous, honestly, I’ve been in dogs a million years and there’s nothing to compare to either the Cavapoo or Cavachon as the ultimate canine companion. I adore them, and until you have one, you might not understand, but once you’ve lived with one of these brilliant, funny, SWEET, small dogs, you’ll understand why I’m so passionate about them.

And I must say there’s no better partner to share a few bites from your bowl of popcorn with on a dark and snowy night when you can’t get enough of the latest Agatha Christie that has you on the edge of your seat. (You can see how I spend my winter evenings). Alice will plop her little self down and hold your paw if you get scared. What more could you ask for in your new best friend?
