Oh this little fluffy bundle of puppy sweetness! She knows that she’s perfectly adorable not to mention the most irresistible fluffy creature on four feet! She plays and prances like a little circus pony 🐴  but pick her up and she turns into a sock monkey 🐵 puppy style and drapes her paws over your wrist as you carry her down the boulevard. Yes I suppose she'll also like to walk on a lead so you can show her off properly, but she really thinks being in somebody's arms is her proper position in the world lol.

Exceedingly social and friendly, a tiny bit bashful when you first meet her then that little tail starts to wag wag wag and she decides quickly that you were made for each other and plops herself down in your lap with a sigh it's past her nap time says she and your lap is the perfect cozy place to snooze and recharge her puppy batteries

! I love these Sable and white babies, does anyone remember Velvet Brown? She now lives with my internet friend Marlene in her wonderful California home (Hi Marlene in case you read this send me more pictures of beautiful baby girl!) This puppy reminds me so much of Velvet and I predict that she'll also have to have her own Instagram account to share her adorable self with the world!

Cavachon Puppy Blenheim Boy | Mr. Personality | Sporty & Fun | Super Sweet | 18-ish Pounds

Don’t you like how I improvised to get Clam Digger’s grown-up size all on the same line? I’m techy like that! 😆 And THEN, forgot to add him to the website. He’s forgiven me, but I had to put him at the top of this page to make up for my blunder lol. HE IS A DARLING!!! Sturdy, but still very portable, and my favorite shade of Blenheim, all caramel and white and yummy looking!

I love everything about this sweet boy, his golden curls, that saucy, windblown, just been to the beach way about him. A total Cavachon character with enough bounce to the ounce to keep the family laughing and pleading with mom for another one just like him because he’s been like “the perfect dog!!!”. (I get letters!).

A wonderful puppy candidate for just about any setting, he loves kids, he loves seniors, and he adores other dogs. (Cats, he probably would try to befriend while keeping a respectful distance lol). Exceedingly friendly and cheerful, he’s sure that everyone already adores Cavachons, or would if they just get to know one!

His coat is the perfect silky texture, promising he’ll be almost completely non-shedding and allergy-friendly too I’m guessing a bit on his size, he might climb a bit over the 16 pound mark, his paws are chubby, his nose, round and full, but I can’t promise, he’ll be a real dog regardless and fit nicely in the hammock with you, don’t he says to tell you to make sure that Airbnb is dog friendly!

Oh, these little red-headed Cavapoo candidates for Puppy of the Year! 

Gosh, these are the best babies! Softest dispositions, intelligent and easy to train, full of bounce when you feel like playing, but oh, they look at you with those big, dark eyes and play follow the leader in the sweetest way. Roscoe Ruff is SO HANDSOME, that mahogany Ruby coat just gleams, abundant waves and curls promise so shedding, and a puppy who will grow up to look like a real live teddy bear!

All puppies have their moments when the sillies make an appearance, that’s the fun of having a puppy, but I do love it when puppies know how to chill and morph into sensible little beings like Roscoe who will prance happily along at your heels as you walk off that extra brownie, OR snooze contentedly at your daughter’s feet while she works on her homework. (Yay for study buddies!).

He is going to be the best kind of old-fashioned family dog, and he’ll grow up with your kids and become a beloved best friend and sympathetic ear when they need it. Always ready to give puppy kisses and snuggle when someone has a tummy ache. A good dog makes your home more complete, and does it joyfully every day of their lives. Looking for a four-footed canine companion to make your summer complete? Are you finally ready to give in to the piteous pleas of your teenager for a puppy (BEFORE she goes off to college?). Yes, I’ve heard it all, I promise you Puppy Peeps!

Soda Pop is not only the most GORGEOUS red-headed Cavapoo creature you’ll ever meet, I am smitten with his snowy white trim, those boots! Yes, he’s a beautiful soul who is going to be simply the perfect family pet. He is a delightful puppy and, like his siblings, makes going one minute longer without a dog inexcusable!

He’ll make a wonderful choice for just about any setting. He’s playful and waggy-tailed, very outgoing and social, but gently so. He’ll romp and play with abandon, then flop down and snooze for an hour or two, while you head off to the grocery store to restock the pantry. (He says don’t forget the baby carrots! The perfect puppy snack! 🥕

By the way, it can’t get any easier than a Foxglove Farm puppy, we do most of the heavy lifting, and when your puppy arrives, he’ll be sleeping through the night (almost without exception, from day one!) and already through his first 3 sets of puppy boosters so it’ll be safe to socialize and introduce the new arrival to doggie friends and family members. Well-versed with his crate, bath time, grooming, and nail trimming, riding in the car, walking on a leash, etc. Not completely trained, of course, these are still youngsters, but we navigate puppies through the early training, which makes your life with a new puppy so so sooooo much easier!

So this little peach of a puppy is such a cozy girl; of course she plays and has occasional bouts of the zoomies, but show her a soft comfy bed and plop, she's in the middle of it preferably surrounded by her favorite toys! She’ll happily recharge her puppy batteries until you need her to help clean up the supper dishes. She's your girl and always willing to oblige especially if a snack might be involved. 😋

And, yes, Puppy People, in case you're wondering, I'm a big fan of people food for dogs. Especially once house training is complete; we don't want to upset the apple cart or any little puppy tummies but once you're through that season let's start making judicious additions to your puppies daily diet.

Carrots, and yes, broccoli, bites of cauliflower, frozen blueberries or green beans, a little scrambled egg here and there how about a bite of that chicken that you baked for Sunday dinner? Of course we don't throw the kitchen sink at our dogs all at once, and an excellent kibble is a good base to start with, and I honestly don't care what your dog food bag says about being absolutely alllllll your dog needs to stay healthy. Living foods are always a good addition when dried kibble that lives in a bag is the main source of nutrition!

Whew! I feel better now, back to our current heart-throb, Junie Peaches, she will be a delightful Cavapoo companion with her open-hearted gaze and gentle disposition. She’ll curl up in your lap and snooze till it’s bedtime and, like nearly alllll of my puppies, from the first night in her new home, sleep soundly till morning, none of those middle of the night trips outdoors with a new puppy!

And she’ll of course, be a bit older so she’ll avoid some much of the tiny puppy drama because she’ll be mature enough to have the basics well under way when she comes home! Cavachon Puppy Tricolor Boy | LOVE THE TRIS! | Brilliant | Beautiful | Slightly Rotten! | 16 Pounds-ish

I am a raving fanatic about these dogs I can't help it. Oh my gosh, I was talking to a lady the other day, I hope she doesn't mind my repeating a little of her tale, but I hear it so often. Her son and his wife, who visit frequently, have a 75 lb doodle who is 2 years old and really good at it. He comes in the door like a tornado and literally almost knocks her over with his enthusiastic greeting. Not a mean bone in this goofball’s body, but also a most significant lack of common sense and trainability.

Oh my goodness, people, if you're going to get a dog, do yourself a great big favor, especially if you are a novice? Get a moderately sized dog or a small dog who thinks he's a big dog. A Cavachon or Cavapoo who, with the help of the eminently sweet, but sensible Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, tones down the enthusiasm of the Bichon, and the brilliantly intelligent poodle, and blends into what are literally the best dogs this dog professional has ever been involved with.

Maybe that's why I'm so passionate. I've seen the dog ownership train run off the rails with so many people over the years. People held hostage with the wrong dog. Dogs that they have to manage and deal with and, God bless their hearts, try to enjoy, when there were so many better choices out there.

Choices like this delightful little guy, Barney Bumble. From the top of his curly little head to the tip of his happily wagging tail, Barney is the real deal. He will be the best dog you'll ever own. You'll have to navigate him through puppyhoo,d and if he's anything like my Hastings, he will occasionally do ridiculous puppy things that will make you for 5 seconds want to send him back. But those will be brief moments and he’ll make you laugh so much and LOVE HIM SO MUCH in between having the sillies, that you’ll forgive him and go right on,

I look over on the couch this evening at my own tricolor boy who stays faithfully at my side these nights, I sit up late sharing the Puppy Post. He glances over once in a while as if to say it’s time for bed, Mom, but he’ll stay there no matter how late I stay up, and I cannot tell you the comfort that life with such a dog as this is like.

All I can do is insist with each new litter, that you too can have a great life with a fabulous dog. Just pick a Foxglove Farm puppy, that’ll make it easy, and you can thank me (over and over again) later!

So I was in my office yesterday, working on puppy pictures, and Isabella decided it was time for Mama Terry to have a puppy break and hold a puppy, cause that’s the most fun of all!

And, of course, who needed to be held at that very moment, ye ask? (as if you didn’t know), Isabella! I captured a sweet video on my phone of her all cuddled up and drifting off to sleep while they were banging around fixing something outside. She was oblivious and, like all good puppies, snuggled in and was nodding off in no time.

The precious thing, oh my goodness, she’s little and snowy white with bit of gold on her ears, the tiniest little nose and these big dark eyes that simply melt the heart, she is irresistible I promise you! I love her outgoing sweetness, blended with the softest cuddly personality, brave and affectionate, happy as can be to be near her people.

I think she’ll be an especially easy puppy to raise, she’ll play happily outdoors until it’s naptime, and then (Oh bliss, she says if you’ll sometimes hold her for that endeavor!) she’s off in puppy dream land for an hour or so, then, having recharged her puppy batteries, she’ll be ready to start all over again! She loves to please, has a compliant disposition, and couldn’t be any more precious if she tried ❤️

I’m going to try and add the aforesaid video, IF the website will cooperate,,, I have been around and around one more time about having “Tooooooo many photos” and for the time being am forced to reduce my huge album for each puppy down to a mere 10 pictures. Sigh. But, I’m determined to find a fix and insert a few videos in the meantime!

Bojangles is just the prettiest puppy (can I say that about a boy baby?) but he is! He’s equal parts cuddle bug and curious explorer, always ready to follow you around and see what’s next on your agenda, just happy to be by your side.

I’m head over heels about so much with this puppy, that coat! Like spun silk, with lovely texture, an abundance of waves that promise he’ll be extra non-shed and allergy friendly. His color is rare in this breed and everyone falls in love with them when I have one available for good reason. This color makes an appearance in the Cavapoo occasionally, but almost never in the Cavachon, and then we have Woodstock and Bojangles at the same time, go figure!

So many people have never even seen a Cavachon by the way, they are still relatively rare in the dog world and honestly, still in my opinion, the very best, easiest, most loving, beautiful and EASY dog on the planet. I remain smitten after almost 20 years of raising them with good reason. And the letters I receive on a daily basis bear witness to these wonderful dogs. There simply is nothing like them.

So, you’re puppy shopping and have stumbled upon the Cavachon as a possible answer to your current dog-less condition? Looking for a puppy who makes you laugh and melts your heart, Bojangles is your boy. Why in the world puppies end up with their quirky names is beyond me. For example, this little guy just had an air about him that reminded me of our days in Charleston. We were there for over 20 years, and I deeply loved the Lowcountry and the saltwater marshes, the slow, soft Southern drawl of my neighbors. So, how in the world did Boone Hall bring all that back to me with one look of his big brown eyes? He is such a humble dog, with those long floppy ears + soulful face.

I think it's a certain something in his expression, courtly and old worldly, with a pinch of sass thrown in to keep things fun. He's such an old soul, yes, he will play and romp with the best of them, but he'll also place his chin on your shoulder and give a big sigh and snuggle close with this yearning that I promise will capture your heart.

He's going to make a great traveling companion, I can see him riding sidekick with the top down, ears flying in the wind, tail wagging when he spies Starbucks because that's where they have them Puppuccino thingies! Trust me, these dogs are entirely smart enough to figure out Starbucks and even the drive-thru. By the time Hastings and I pull up to the pickup window, he is standing, tail wagging wildly, trying to see if the clerk at the counter is someone he has met before.

So much fun, that's all I have to say, a great dog will bring that in abundance to your life. And a great puppy like Boone will make puppy ownership or puppy parenting, whichever you prefer, more fun than you ever dreamed possible. I've loved dogs since I could walk, and it's simply my mission and my passion in life to help people navigate the obstacles to taking the plunge. And yes, one of these days when I write that book I'll share the amazing stories and how He has blessed not only me but our wonderful puppies and yes, ultimately, the homes they go to 🙏🏻

Cavapoo Puppy Ruby & White Boy | Bestest Boy! | Compliant Child | About 14 Pound Grown

Don’t miss the last picture! Such a little love!!! Rufus Ray is the darlingest boy, a beautiful puppy, the deepest Irish Setter Red (and you all know I LOVE these super deep Ruby puppies) with his soft curls and snowy white trim, he’s a picture and will only get more handsome with time. All puppies are cute, of course, but I want to see my grown-up babies become equally adorable as adults. Yes, and still turn heads as you stroll down the sidewalk all the days you own him!

Rufus is the slightly smaller of the boys. Cavapoos and Cavachons grow quickly, by the way, and are usually close to adult size by between 6 and 8 months of age. He is soft, steady, and so lovable. This puppy guy wants to be someone’s special companion and sidekick. He’s adaptable and smart, and he tries to understand everything you say. I see an easy puppy in the making.

He’s still a puppy, so of course, expect him to be playful. Still, he also already shows a mellow personality, which promises he’s going to be a devoted and affectionate little companion, just the best combination, entertaining but already good at napping!

One of my favorite things is bringing home lots of new puppy toys. The latest toy delivery included these darling little stuffed dinosaurs, orange, green, and blue, and the puppies are head over heels in love with them. Rufus had the orange Brontosaurus (yep, that’s what his favorite is lol), stuffed firmly in his mouth, parading back and forth proudly until two of the others spied his prize and suddenly there were THREE puppies holding the same Brontosaurus, with poor Rufus Ray in the middle desperately trying to escape with his prize!

Yes, dear Puppy People, never a dull moment in Puppyville! I’m heading back to the store to stock up on their latest obsession before they sell out! 🦕 🦖 🦕

Cavachon Puppy Sable & White Boy | Comical, Cute & OH! He Knows It! | 10 - 12 Pounds

All innocence, Arlo was determined to explore those irresistible puppy props and was especially enamored by my poor little CERAMIC lion! I turned my head for just a moment, and with one swipe of his velvet paw, he very nearly rolled it off onto the floor, all the while looking like innocence personified. Yep, butter wouldn’t melt in my mouth, says he!

Oh, that face! And you can’t get mad at him because he’s so silly and irresistibly goofy and has the best sense of humor all wrapped up in a ridiculously adorable package. What can I say? He's all that and a bag of chips lol!

Every litter has that one sibling who seems to be born with a sparkle in his eye and a bounce in his step—and that’s Arlo. He loves chasing leaves, greeting visitors, and robbing his siblings of their toys when they're not looking (sounds like a pattern, right?). He dashes past them with a squeaky toy in his mouth and I promise you, a gleeful grin on his face. Don’t worry, he’s not always a clown—underneath it all, he’s super affectionate and happiest when nestled under your chin for a nap while he recharges those puppy batteries.

Though smallish, he’s a big dog inside, brave and exceedingly friendly and outgoing. He keeps his tail wagging happily so there’s never any doubt as to his mood, cheerful and fun, he’s such a great puppy (his siblings say PLEASE, PICK HIM before he steals all the toys!!!

Cavachon Puppy Tricolor Boy | Moonbeam Baby | Playful & Fun | I’m thinking 14 or so pounds!

So I’m describing Jasper as playful and fun, and I promise he is! But he’s also a reflective little guy at times and spends a good bit of time gazing out of his puppy bed during nap time (when he should be sleeping lol) pondering the mysteries of life and whether or not Mama Terry ordered those yummy looking new dog treats on Amazon.

Yes, a real Cavachon character, our Jasper boy, with the cutest ways about him, and an irresistibly, comical Tricolor personality. Everyone knows I love the Blenheims, I love the Rubies, oh my goodness I love the Blue Merle's, but can I say it again the Tricolors!? They are wonderful, for one thing that coat never changes colors or fades at all, they stay that beautiful black white and tan, such a striking coat color.

I have a friend who used to raise Collies and she always thought the Tricolors where the smartest, I might not go that far because all of my puppies border on brilliance but she’s pretty nearly right! Jasper combines his brilliant puppy mind with so much sweetness, that woebegone face will melt your heart but don’t worry, the next moment he’ll be cantering off with your sock in his mouth because he knows you need to get your steps in and he’s all too happy to help mom as much as he can lol!

Another word about his coat, the texture is like silk, he’ll be easy to maintain between groomings, and I send every puppy home with the perfect mini sized slicker brush, you’ll be amazed at how therapeutic brushing this little guy will become. I groomed professionally for years, it’s oddly relaxing, especially with a willing participant, our puppies are introduced to all aspects of grooming and as a groomer told me recently, they are WONDERFUL to work with, just saying! You’ll enjoy it so much it may become your new hobby!

NEWSFLASH! If you’ve missed this gorgeous boy, I have his identical, slightly larger twin posting in a few days!

So I enjoyed the photos of these puppies way too much and took waaay too many of them, it’s hard when I want to share every single expression, the closeup of the tiny curls scalloping a puppy’s ear, ah, and I can’t let everyone miss the smidge of white at the very tip of this or that one’s tail!

This honey colored boy had me especially captivated, his adorably serious expression, the perfect snowy tracing of a tiny white blaze that shows to perfection from the side or perhaps from the three quarter angle? Yes, I confess, I take on average 100 pictures of every puppy and then I'm faced with the usual, albeit enjoyable dilemma of narrowing it down to the 15 or 20 that Google and Squarespace will permit me to use without giving a D minus to my website for having too many pictures. 

I went through Woodstock’s charming portfolio and reluctantly chose just enough photos to help everyone have a most excellent appreciation and enjoyment from every single angle… CLICK HERE to see more of Woodstock!) Take that Google! It was really hard though, I had decided that he would wear the crocheted kerchief, loved the color against his caramel coat. He, on the other hand, was not impressed and stared at it, trying to decide if it was some strange new form of toy, perhaps, and if chewing was allowed? 

He's equal parts mellow and merry: a nap-in-the-sun kind of pup who also gets the zoomies just because the world is so full of wonder. He loves to play outdoors and I can see in him the makings of a wonderful family dog. He’s not a bit alpha, tries so hard to understand everything you say, he’s just the best boy & will make you wonder why you waited so long to welcome a puppy into your life!

This puppy reminds me of a lovable, slightly rumpled gentleman, he has a cheerful soul and a bouncy gait, and walks around like the world is full of puppy biscuits just waiting to drop from the sky into his path. Doesn’t his name (I know!!!) “Otis Bumble” sounds like someone who collects pinecones, forgets where he left his squeaky toy, and wins your heart without even trying, he named himself!

Otis is gentle, endearing, and full of old-fashioned warmth but fear not! He’s also a scamp who will chase the neighbor’s cat if she dares to cross into your yard, and make himself the official guardian of your humble abode, all 14 pounds (or so!) of his furry little self.

I so love that about Cavachons, truly small but mighty (in the friendliest sort of way). They are the most loving of doggie souls, and trust me, there are so many breeds that are NOT. This morning, Otis was sitting like an old guy on a park bench, watching his siblings cavort and romp around the puppy playground. Arlo was bouncing and hopping on his sister, and Otis firmly marched over and gave Arlo a bap on the nose with his chubby front paw. It was so funny, and effective too, Arlo decided that pestering his sister wasn’t so much fun after all and Otis sat back down to superintend the rest of the puppy kids like a teacher at recess maintaining order!

He’s going to be a lot of fun, that face and expression will keep you laughing and trying to outguess this brilliant boy, he’ll be a dream to train and trust me, if he’s anything like my Hastings, you’ll be ringing me for a second one just like him to complete your family 🐶

This is the dearest puppy. There is something so winsome in her little face; she gazes at you with those big brown eyes, and you’ll find yourself utterly smitten, and if you’re not careful, you’ll spoil her to bits! Not to worry, some puppies are just extra spoilable and yet they are so sweet-natured, they are always just the same and never know that they’re spoiled and are always wonderful regardless.

Mable True (who is named after my grandmother, by the way, she was also the dearest soul ever), will be a devoted companion, ready to follow you everywhere you go because she knows it’s her job to take care of her people and make sure they have her by their side for all of life’s adventures. She’s just sporty enough to help you get your steps in but a total cuddler too so she will follow your lead as to each day’s agenda.
