So reflective isn't exactly the word I would use to describe most puppies and Charlie Finch also has his fair share of fun and games and typical puppy playfulness, and I wouldn't want it any other way. But he also has lovely moments when he gazes into your eyes with all of his puppy heart and he is almost a little statue of puppy goodness. I promise he will melt your heart, and become one of the most delightful red-headed canine companions you could ever wish for.

Are you new to all things puppy? Don't let that rob you of sharing your life with a dog. Oh my goodness I see people tottering on the edge, promising the kids year after year to make those puppy dreams come true and letting fear and anxiety and focusing on the reasons all the reasons why adding a dog to the family would make life unbearable when in truth adding a dog to the family makes life so much more full of love. 

As one Puppy Person told me a few years back; “This dog has added so many layers of love to our family!”

Or, from the lady who I INSISTED get a puppy when she hesitated for weeks about taking the puppy plunge; “The best thing I ever did was listen to your advice, I love this dog so much, I can’t imagine life without him! THANK YOU!!!”

Now's the time Puppy People! I'm not saying I'm retiring tomorrow but if you’ve dreamed of getting a Foxglove Farm baby you'd better put your skates on and get one sooner rather than later! I know my puppies have an extra measure of grace, God has blessed this endeavor and we have been faithful to share the income from our puppies with sending the gospel around the world. But one of these days, I will decide it's time to shutter the doors of Foxglove Farm and do the writing that I've always dreamed of doing. The writing that I simply don't have time for now.

I adore the puppies, I truly do and they are the wind in my sails but I’m prayerfully speaking to the Lord about timing and other directions. I haven’t gotten my answer yet… In the meantime, make haste dear Puppy People, let me send you the most amazing dog you’ll ever have ❤️ 🐶 ❤️
