From the time he was little, Toby Tides has had this sturdy way of being. It’s like on the inside, he thinks he’s an 80-pound yellow lab, with giant paws and long floppy ears, and then he looks in the mirror and sees this teddy bear face looking back at him. Poor guy, I’m afraid he’s a bit disappointed, and feels like he’s much fluffier and way cuter than a “real dog” has any right to be lol.t

For those husbands out there lobbying for a more sizey canine companion, don’t miss this sporty puppy guy who will prove to all the world that you don’t have to weigh 80 pounds to be the best dog a family ever has. Not to mention, have you seen how much a lab sheds? And drools? And, bless their goofy hearts, how long it takes them to grow out of the wildly enthusiastic “puppy” stage and acquire a bit of common sense. Lovable, yes, but oh my gosh, a whole bunch of doggie drama to deal with when you could forget about your image and get your wife the puppy she’s been dreaming of for years. Happy wife, happy life. Just saying… (I do get letters 😂).

Ah, but not to worry, Toby, my boy, you’ll find a wonderful home and your new people will appreciate you for exactly what you are, a little guy with a heart as big as the whole outdoors. And when you’re sleepily cuddling with your family and a cold winter’s night, you can dream dreams of hunting ducks and leaping over mud puddles in a single bound… Big dreams for a big-hearted puppy.
