Poor Ruffles... Voice to text is NOT my friend! 🙈 🙉 🙊

I wouldn't say I pride myself on all things technology. I'm no geek, but I've learned enough to be more than slightly dangerous when it comes to working on my website. Add to that fact that I’m the world’s worst proofreader, and my train sometimes runs completely off the rails.

One of my Favorite Things is naming puppies. People ask me all the time how I come up with my unusual/funny/slightly ridiculously adorable names, and honestly, I look into a puppy's face, and they just name themselves. Ruffles is a perfect example. He had the sweetest, ruffly way about him and was so pretty for a boy puppy that I thought Ruffles fit him perfectly.

Such a lovely puppy, such a cute name until poor Ruffles somehow became RAFFLES on his cute banner image???

Raffles? HOW did I miss that? 😳

Why didn’t I catch my mistake before dithering on happily all over Instagram and FB about my sweet puppy and calling him Ruffles over and over while clearly, his name tag incorrectly proclaimed Raffles? It didn’t help matters that I had done the most precious reel and there were HOURS of watch time,,, dear Jennifer in NYC told me she watched it 10,000 times, all those replays with my glaring snafu front and center…

Sigh. Not my finest moment 😂

I loved voice-to-text until it turned on me and helped me make a monkey out of myself in front of a few hundred thousand people on social media. Oh well, better to laugh than cry is my motto 🙈 🙉 🙊

By the way, Ruffles, in spite of the difficulty concerning his proper name, has found the most wonderful home with 6 of his very own kids to play with! Remember, Puppy People; all’s well that ends well!
