So, the puppies are head over heels in love with these tiny stuffed bunnies. They are faintly reminiscent of real rabbits, all done up in soft gray and buff. Oddly enough, I found them at TJ Maxx, one of my favorite places to shop for people goodies; they sometimes have really cute dog things, too. I love toy shopping and am always on the lookout for more because, like kids, the puppies LOVE NEW TOYS!
Cute Cavachon puppy Hazel Mae
The bunnies have quickly become everyone’s new MOST ADORED TREASURE, and even though I bought several of them, with four puppies in one litter and five in the other, it means at any given moment, five puppies are lacking a velvety bunny friend, eek! 😳 What was I thinking? I SHOULD have purchased NINE BUNNIES! We are having a severe rabbit shortage here at Foxglove Farm.
Hazel Mae, being a bright and thoughtful little person, who reminds me slightly of a clucking mother hen, brooding over her chicks (AKA rabbits lol). She always seems to have one of them hidden away from those she refers not so lovingly to as “the hoodlums”. She tucks a bunny safely between her paws or lies down on top of one to complete the heist and gazes innocently around when one of her siblings runs up on bunny patrol. I can’t stand all the drama and bunnyless broken puppy hearts so I’m headed back out in search of bunny reinforcements, lol.
Cavachon puppies love furry friends, even just the stuffed ones!
I’m going to capture one of the rabbits when it comes time for this furry creature to head to her forever 🏡; it may be a bit worse for wear, but I promise, she’ll love it anyway. She’ll also love her new family with all of her puppy heart, thats a safe promise as well. Devotion and loyalty are already shining brightly from her eyes, not to worry, she’s also playful and occasionally hop hop hops just like one of the other characters in this story. Cheerful and people-pleasing in every fiber of her being, don’t miss this sweet baby, and make extra room; she’ll be bringing along a friend ❤️
The year that Hurricane Hugo came to South Carolina, we lived on one of Charleston’s coastal islands, a mere 6 feet above sea level.
Read MoreWell, I finally gave in. My gloriously oversized and probably really annoying announcement bar is a thing of the past, and now, like a sensible creature, it is limiting itself to a few TINY lines, which will be difficult but entirely possible, I’m told.
I admit it had become a bit of a space for blog post-style entries, just a quick and easy spot to hop on and announce a new litter of puppies or a change in my favorite dog food, a coupon code, or just to let everyone know that Cavapoo cutie Baby Bella or her siblings had definitely found their homes.
Alas, all good things must come to an end, and my announcement bar now must live in its proper spot on this blog page. I'm not sure how that's going to look long term, Puppy People, but it will make Google happy, and I'm sure it will be easier to navigate my site without that 5-inch banner across the screen blocking the pictures of my puppies, who were supposed to be front and center anyway, lol.
You'll have to pop in here when you visit the site I will be putting the news where it is supposed to be like a rebellious but nonetheless obedient child.
Sigh, I’m going to miss that ole bar; it feels like I’m breaking up with my best friend!
So what do you get when you have the bright idea of using a MILLION yellow chickens (and ducks!) for props on Puppy Picture Day?
Read MoreShe is utterly the most charming little creature ever, that winsome small face, those big Cavalier eyes, what a total darling!!! She was quite pleased with her enormous plaid bow and thought she should be allowed to keep it after her puppy glamour shots as a souvenir but sadly, Mama Terry rained on her parade and put it firmly back in the puppy cupboard where all the puppy accruements live.

Read MoreSo many people write and tell me that they’ve followed my site for years and that the puppies always bring a smile and that they visit often, many many of them who don’t even have a dog but still love seeing the puppies. But, little did I realize what an incredibly large audience Foxglove Farm has gathered…
Read MoreSome puppies are so easy to take pictures of, they gaze at the camera with happy curiosity, shivering with puppy delight at the opportunity to explore new frontiers. For example, Pitty Pat had no problem posing in the midst of a dozen or two Valentine hearts, all within tempting reach. She gazed at each new addition happily, trying to decide which one she could cart off and hide for an afternoon snack.
Read MoreSo, as I’ve mentioned before, puppy picture day is never without its share of puppy drama. Case in point, Tony Tiger (aptly named, this tiny stuffed toy predator!) started out meek as milk and posed cheerfully for a few shots “Don’t miss this side mama, it’s my best!”
Read MoreCavachons have the most expressive faces, sometimes I find it almost impossible to do puppy pictures because I’m trying not to distract the little people because I’m laughing so hard. Just look at Matilda Mae, she was such a darling and let me put on an adorable flower headband though she obviously thought it made her look fat 😂
